Project Description
The SATURN Data Repository provides flexible access and long-term archival storage for all data collected by, and made available to, the center. Repository contents include raw and quality-controlled data from fixed-station sensors, computational simulation model outputs, and data collected during various campaigns such as cruises and autonomous vehicle deployments. Raw sensor data is accessible in near real-time while quality-controlled data is made available on a timely basis. The repository utilizes industry-standard practices to provide high-availability and insure against the loss or corruption of data.

Fit in program
The Data Repository is central to the center providing the historical record of observations and simulation model outputs for ongoing analysis of the estuary's state, variability, and future. The repository also supports the implementation, evolution, and application of computational simulation models.

Outcomes
An archival quality, highly available database containing the historical record of all sensor and simulation data collected and generated by the center.
