The CORIE network includes 13 estuarine stations and one offshore station, each containing multiple physical sensors. The offshore station is a new station, currently in its early phases of deployment.
Within the range of the CORIE telemetry network, vessels can be set-up as internet nodes, which enables two-way transfer of data amoung the vessels and the moored network during surveys.
Characterization of physical properties in the plume and estuary is assisted by a real-time data acquisition network, part of the pilot nowcast-forecast system CORIE.
